We are Canadian owned and operated, having been created by the merger of two longstanding family businesses.

Waterline has been serving the Canadian plumbing industry for over 60 years. Originally a rep agency, over time Waterline began to develop products under its own brand and through a variety of sub-brands including Crimprite, Pex Ready, Push’N’Connect, Dependable Plumbing and many more. In addition to its wholesale plumbing business, Waterline is a well-known supplier to national Canadian retailers, with a particular strong reputation in the PEX category.

LynCar’s predecessors date back to the 1960s. Originally focusing on the lighting and electrical sectors, they entered the fire sprinkler business in the 80s and the wholesale plumbing market in 1990. In plumbing, LynCar built its reputation as a “one stop shop” for specialty products, with a huge catalogue and the catch phrase “Thousands of Products – One Source”. LynCar Fire has forged its own separate path, with a strong brand and growing catalogue of products supporting installers of fire sprinkler systems across Canada.

Our predecessors became one company with the merger in 2014 of LynCar and Waterline. The Waterline retail business and LynCar Fire continue to operate as separate divisions, and LynCar & Waterline have one co-branded wholesale plumbing operation. This business supplies thousands of items used by plumbing professionals across Canada.
